Thirst Beverage Solutions was founded in 2021 by long-time buddies, Tim and Bert, who set out to provide quality drinking experiences for all. With a passion for food and drink, they sought to use their skills and knowledge to tap into your drinking desires.

TIM RUPAR
Tim has been involved in the food service industry for more than 15 years. He boasts two degrees from Johnson & Wales University, and studied at the Deutsches Wein und Sommelier Schule, an elite sommelier school in Koblenz, Germany. He is passionate about drinks: a rare bottle of wine, or one that drinks above its price point; the entire gamut of beer, from Pilsner to Stout, IPA to Tripel; rediscovering a forgotten cocktail or trying out a brand new technique. Above all, though, Tim cares about the guest experience. To him, this isn’t the food and drink industry - it’s the service industry. That means taking the time and energy to find out what the guest’s needs and desires are, and doing everything within his power to surpass those goals. If you’re not satisfied, then the job isn’t done.

Tim lives in Huntersville with his wife, Lauren, their three crazy boys and their 75 pound lap dog, Eppy.
BERT RODRIGUEZ
Bert Rodriguez began his career as an officer in the United States Navy and transitioned to business consulting following completion of his commitment to the armed forces. Currently, as a consultant with Centric Consulting Bert specializes in organizational change management and project management roles where the focus on client success is paramount.
Bert's appreciation for the perfect beverage, from craft beer and wine to artfully created cocktails fueled his love for learning about, discussing, and generally enjoying good drink. Over the past 15 years he began to organize informal tasting events for family and friends providing venues to compare and contrast cocktails, popular brews, and wines, often finding that the best product is not always associated with the highest price or fanciest marketing. Finding the hidden gems along the cocktail journey are a reward that is often overlooked! This passion and the want to share it with others led Bert to Join with his professionally trained friend, Tim Rupar, in establishing Thirst Beverage Solutions!
Bert Rodriguez lives in Dilworth with his lovely wife Susan and their four children.
